I have 2 critical server alerts:
The server has a trust with an external forest that is not permitted.
The Forest Trust Check detected a condition in your environment that is out of compliance with the licensing policy. A trust relationship exists outside your forest. Please remove the trust now.
Also:
An external forest trust is not permitted and cannot be fixed automatically.
The automatic correction of a noncompliant forest trust condition was not successful because error 0x8007054f occurred in function f6 [IJTV]. An internal error occurred. Make sure that your DNS server can be contacted and the following services are running: Active Directory Domain Services (NTDS), DNS Server (DNS), Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC). This server will be automatically shut down if the issue is not corrected.
...these services are running. My server has begun to shut itself down every couple of days.

This external trust was created in error. It's not really an external domain, it's the same domain. The GUI allowed me to create a trust within the same local domain and now I'm trying to remove and it will not allow.
I've also tried removing with the command line which didn't help. I get the following error "this machine is a domain controller and cannot be unjoined from the a domain. The command failed to complete successfully."
I'm using SBS 2011 Standard.
