Changing default e-mail domain on SBS 2008, will autodiscover update the clients automatically?

We have an SBS 2008 server using a self-signed certificate hosting two e-mail domains, a longname.com and a shortname.com.

We recently switched to using the shorter name as our primary e-mail address and we now want to add and start using a 3rd party UCC certificate for the short name. OWA and Remote access URL.

If we use the wizard to reconfigure SBS to start using the new, short name, URL and add the certificate is there a way to have autodiscover automatically re-configure the Outlook and/or mobile clients to start using the new configuration. Or do we need to manually re-configure each and every client?

Thanks,

Dave
