SAS or SATA for a RAID array hosting SBS 2012

Hi,

I'm working for a company currently employing 6 people, with a small network of 14 computers. We are planning to recruit up to 15 other people in the coming years.

We want to improve our IT infrastructure, by running an instance of SBS 2011 (Active Directory, Exchange, fileserver, etc.).

I know the requirements for CPU, RAM and networks of SBS 2011, but I can't find any information about the right technology for a RAID array hosting SBS.

I'd like to host the OS (including exchange) on a RAID 5 array, with up to around 20 users in the near future.

Is an array of SAS drives mandatory, or is the use of SATA drives sufficient ? No other data or application that Exchange and the fileserver will run on the server, and the data growth rate is fairly small.

Thanks in advance for you answer.
