I have a local relay setup on my SBS 2011 server and am running into a peculiar issue on SBS 2011 servers, only.
There are 2 SBS 2011 servers that we monitor backups that are taken by ShadowProtect with. These backups send a report to us nightly, however we have not been receiving them.
When I initially configured the email reporting, I was able to send a test and it was successful. Now, when I test the email, I notice that the IP Address which is being used as the 'sending IP address' has changed and is now the first address in the RRAS pool for that server.
Example: RRAS Pool is 192.168.0.58 - 192.168.0.62
Server IP: 192.168.0.11
When I run a test Email, the my_ipaddress no longer shows 192.168.0.11. If I run through the connect to the internet wizard or the fix my network wizard, it goes back to being 192.168.0.11, but after a few days, the reports stop and when I run a test again, the my_ipaddress shows as 192.168.0.58 (or the first address in whatever the range currently is).
Has anyone experienced this or a similar issue?
