I'm fairly new to IT, and doing my first new server installation.
I'm replacing/upgrading the current server (Windows Server 2003) for a new client, and have yet to use SBS 2011 which the new Server i'm ordering comes with pre-installed.
My question is from a functionality/maintenance/management standpoint, do Windows XP workstations generally work well with SBS 2011? Or should i be recommending an upgrade to the workstation's software to Windows 7? The business size is 1 server, and 7 workstations. mostly office/clerical work, with one Point of Sale machine, which will be purchasing new, as it is replacing an old QS2000 POS machine.
So simply, does XP place nice with SBS2011 or should i look to Win7?
