I have almost completed the sbs 2003 > server 2008 exchange 2010 migration following this guide
It has been a few days and I am at the step now to uninstall exchange 2003 from SBS.
Before doing that I shutdown SBS server and wanted to check email flow with it off.
got a issue
With SBS off, all inbound traffic works
Outbound traffic does not work
When I booted SBS back up, Outbound emails went through.
So in my Exchange 2010 management console I have a SmallBusiness SMTP connector - enabled
which was auto created when I installed 2010.
Do I need to create another SMTP connector after SBS is shut off? Dematzer's guide does not mention this at all so one is to assume no.
Please help, this is keeping me from completing the migration.
Thanks
