I have tried this solution: http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2009/07/14/sbs-2008-console-may-take-too-long-to-display-alerts-and-security-statuses-display-not-available-or-crash.aspx.
And that worked. But the reports stopped again. I tried the solution again with this command (Sqlcmd -S %audorserver%\SBSMonitoring -E -i c:\windows\temp\updateSBSMonitoring.sql) and got this error message:
"The operation failed because an index or statistics with the name SBS_Blog_Index_WMICollectedData_5_K4_K1_K5_2 already exists on table dbo.WMICollectedData."
I thought at first I should leave the "%" marks out of the command. If I do the command still fails with a different error "Error locating server instance specified ....".
Any advice appreciated.
