Expand VHD containing Exchange data

Hello all

I m not sure where to post this but this is SBS related posting under the SBS forums

We have SBS 2008 and SBS 2011 servers at 2 client locations and both are running on Hyper V.

The exchange partitions (mail store and log) are running out of space and we need to increase the disk space on the respective VHD s.

Since these partitions are Exchange related do we need to take extra precautions / additional steps? Or can we just expand the VHD just like any other VHD and then expand the drive using the disk manager in SBS 2008/2011.
