A client has switched to Office 365 and no longer uses Exchange 2007 on their SBS 2008 machine. We would like to remove Exchange from the server or disable it safely without affecting other services. The principle reason is Auto-discover interferes with Outlook setup when configuring in house email accounts, which use the same domain name. Or are we over thinking this? Is there a simpler approach to dealing with this problem? Auto-discover solutions found in other posts seem inconclusive
