We have a customer with a previous OEM installation of Windows SBS 2011 - they have subsequently moved to office365 for email, and also installed a new domain controller with 2008 R2 (all roles functions etc have been moved from the old SBS 2011 box) and the old server is switched off.
Can we take this server to a remote site (with the same organisation) and re-install just the Windows 2008 R2 component and join the HQ Active Directory? We don't need the other components of the SBS, just Server 2008?
