We have a Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 R2 here which runs business critical items such as active directory, share point, exchange, and file shares. Apparently within the last few weeks we have noticed that it would lock up and become unresponsive.
Sometimes pingable, sometimes not, and cannot establish a remote desktop session. I was able to get the server to respond by restarting, and sometimes having to disable and re-enable the network adapter. There really wasn't anything that made the issue apparent
in event viewer. I did notice in the BSOD minidump file that there was reference to tcipip.sys. Do you think there is an issue with the network interface card driver? I cannot post an image of the BlueScreenView until my account has been verified.
