Our Windows SBS 2008 is running correctly, using a self signed certificate. The best practices analyzer gives these 2 errors :
- The SSL certificate for 'https://ninix-tech.com' expired 11/10/2001 23:24:41. Users may be unable to connect with the server.
- Certificate principal mismatch : The principal for SSL certificate 'https://ninix-tech.com' does not appear to match the host address. Host address: ninix-tech.com. Principal: C=US, S=VA, L=Chantilly, O=Plesk Inc., CN=plesk.com, E=support@plesk.com.
ninix-tech.com is our domain name :
- http://www.ninix-tech.com and http://ninix-tech.com is linked to our website hosted by our provider
- https://www.ninix-tech.com and https://ninix-tech.com gives a blank page of our provider with the message that the index file is not found.
I guess that the plesk.com (host address of mentioned certificate) has to do with the parallels cloud interface that our provider (Belgacom) is using for hosting and domain name management.
Can someone please advise?
