Hi all,
I'm in strange situation after a migration from Windows 2003 Server with Exchange 2007 to Windows 2011 SBS. Everything seems fine, but server startup is slow, especially 'Applying Computer settings" takes long. It seems something to do with DNS or with IPv6 settings. IPv6 is enabled on the NIC because I know about similar issues with slow bootup when IPv6 is disabled. IPv6 has never been disabled. The server is running on VMware 5.1 vSphere.
At the end, after a long time, CTRL + ALT + DEL shows up, but some services (mostly Exchange services) did not start automatically. Manual startup works without a problem.
This is what my IPconfig looks like:

First warning after boot:
Event 1014, DNS Client Events
Name resolution for the name _ldap._tcp.Default-First-Site-Name._sites.dc._msdcs.******.local timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
Second warning:
Event 10020:
This computer has at least one dynamically assigned IPv6 address. For reliable DHCPv6 server operation, you should use only static IPv6 addresses.
It looks like the dynamic IP (v6) is the problem, but what IP should I use for static IPv6?
