I have an SBS 2011 Standard server that will not recover from a reboot. If I perform a restart either from a Windows update or from the typical restart the server will correctly go through the restart process (it appears to go down fine) but will
not restart. If I do a shutdown and wait for the machine to shutdown and then press the power button and turn the server back on it will boot up just fine. I need to be able to perform remote maintenance after hours on this server and am not able
to do so because the server cannot be rebooted. I don't see anything in the event logs that indicate that there are any problems. Has anyone run into this before? Any ideas of things I can look for? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
