Redirected folders is great, allowing users to move machines and have access to all their documents, but to me its fantastic in the fact of allowing a centralised backup from SBS
However redirected folder only does Desktop and Documents
This means that Favorites is not stored on thes erver, meaning users who move don't have access to their Favorites, this also means if a laptop dies the user loses their Favorites.
Surely there is a way for this to be solved using the Redirected folder method?
I did use a GPO in XP which moved the Favorites folder into a MySettings folder inside the Documents, this worked great until Windows 7, when IE 9+ didn't allow looking at Favorites in any other location other than the default.
All users on are on windows 7
