I have a customer with an SBS 2003 with the IP Subnet: 192.99.14.x/255.255.255.0
I am configuring their new server but have ran into an error with the wizards where they think the IP address is public.
The customer has a number of large machine tools which we had to get engineers in to allow us access to their configuration panels and this would cause a nightmare if we need to reconfigure the whole network when our upgrade was sold as causing less disruption.
I am configuring the wizards etc with a standard 192.168.x.x range and going to set the NIC addresses back, no doubt i will need to alert DNS and DHCP but is there anything else i need to be aware or?
Thanks in advance.
Brian
