Hi All,
PLEASE HELP!!!! Your help will be very much appreciated in resolving this issue ASAP!
I am experiencing a lot of issues to connect some workstations running Windows 7 SP1 to a Windows Server SBS 2011 Standard. This is not a hardware issue and it seems to be an issue with the SBS 2011 Standard version. The reason I said that are the following:
1: I have installed the SBS 2008/2011 Essential and it worked perfectly after installation and setup, I can connect all the clients’ workstations to the network without any issues.
2: I installed the SBS 2011 Standard the same way with the same setup on the same machine and different machines the same way I did with the SBS 2011 Essential, the ESSENTIAL version worked every time I installed it. However, the SBS 2011 Standard will not work, I meant after installation and setup the same way with the ESSENTILA version has been installed, workstations cannot connect or join the domain.
3: When I tried to setup internet connection portion for client Web connection, it wanted to disable my DHCP server from the Router. I don’t want to do that, I want the Router to handle the DCHP portion for the network. How can I setup SBS 2011 Standard web connection without turning off my DHCP from my Router? As you know, you cannot setup the rest of the services without first setup the Internet Connection First.
Remember: I have already done all the troubleshooting found on the NET without success. So, Yes, I have tried manually by taking the tools from the SBS server and installed on the client machines, of course, it didn’t work as you know. So, I am looking for a troubleshooting solution that worked in the pass and will work for me as well.
PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance!
