For the past many weeks, I've been attempting to install KB2787763, and failing that I am unable to install Exchange 2010 SP2. I end up having to recover my server from my backups.
I have read so many forum postings and tried to follow the workarounds, but none of them provided a solution for me. Frankly I'm tired of these failed attempts and spending the day with a server outage while doing a recovery. Some have suggested a bug in these updates, but if that were so, I'd expect MS to fix the bug and re-release the updates.
I'm running Small Business Server 2011 and follow all of the Best Practices that I can giving SBS is on a single server. My patience with these two updates expired. Isn't these something I can do to keep my Exchange service up-to-date?
