SBS2011 Boot Loop

Hi Community,

It' a Dell Poweredge 2900, 2 x Xeons, 32G RAM, 3x RAID1

Today I installed a few critical updates on a SBS2011, which I just migrated (successfully) from SBS2003, and which ran very well for 2 weeks.

After new start, it goes to the progress bar (5secs) then black screen with Mouse-pointer (3s), afterwards the lightblue screen where it searches for "Windows Modules Installer" (5s) and then "Windows is configured, don't turn it off" or similar, because I'm translating this from German. That goes for ~ 1 min, then it reboots.

I tried every GUI-savemode (F8) except the ADS-restore. The effect is always identical as described above.

The only thing I also installed, was an engineering software, that requires a USB-dongle. that was BEFORE  the updates and it didn't require a reboot. I naturally tried without the dongle. Also took the other 2 virtual disks off-line.

I'm in Germany, which is GMT+1 - or 6 hours ahead of East-coast. And I have to get this fixed by Monday 07:00 which is 01:00 Eastern. A solution to my problem would be extremely appreciated (or I'm dead...)

thx

Bernie
