Hi there, we havea sbs 2008 sp1 server that for the last few days suddenly stopped backing up. If you went into the SBS console or the windows backup console it would just query forever. if you went to vssadmin list writers it would not list any of them.
We have tried running a script to re register the DLLs but we get error messages on a few of them but it does not work. We have also tried uninstalling the windows backup and re adding it but again no difference. It also seems if we do vssadmin list writers and wait, nothing happens and then we try to reboot the server it takes several hours (up to 6 hours) to reboot.
Please help!
