AD Domain Services Config Wiz taking long time (hours).
SBS 2003 at 2003 DFL/FFL
Joined 2012 server to Domain w/o issue.
according to documentation adprep is performed automatically when you use the WIZ to promote the 2012 server to DC.
Started the process and now hours later the AD Domain Services progress bar keeps moving and the buttons at the bottom are grayed out. In Sites and services the new server shows up, but not as a DC (no ntds).
The progress indicates "Creating the NTDS settings object for this Active Directory Domain Controller on the remote AD DC DCSBSVR.xxx.xxx... "
I do not think this is normal.
