Client wants to dump SBS, I need good reasons to convince them.

The cloud hype is influencing.
A client has about 10 users and has been running SBS2K3 for over 7 yrs. The server is getting old and dying. They now have to make the decision if they should migrate to SBS2011 or simply dump the server and go for cloud.

They think that running a server in the company is costly. They can use Dropbox to share files and Splashtop (similar to LogMeIn) to operate office computers remotely. "Dropbox for Teams" offers 1TB storage and only costs less than $800/yr for 5 users.

They are using Simply Accounting network version and a LOB app that store the data on server. But this is not a good reason to keep the server because they think they can store the data on one of the PCs instead.

I do not feel this is right but cannot give good reasons to keep SBS either.

Anyone can help? If the cloud is indeed fine for them, I would also like to hear about the comments, I do not mind to deploy cloud for them.

Thanks

Jack
