I am stuck in my migration and wanted to bounce some ideas around.
I am on day 10 of waiting for my SBS 2003 public folder instances to disappear so I can move on with retiring the old 2003 server.
I have tried many/all of the steps suggested and have been very patient, but still no movement.
Now, I do not know where to activate the logging nor where to find the logs so that is one thing I have not done.
But, I wanted to ask this question as well (besides where to set logging and find them).
We have used Postini for quite some time and when I setup the 2011 server I went through the process of enabling the 'reinjection' setup--so Postini could re-inject mail back to the server if needed . My main goal was to force outbound mail through Postini.
This required my disabling the default receive connector and following Postini instructions creating a new one with settings that pretty much (with firewall configurations) only allow inbound mail from Postini.
I did add my old server's ip# to be allowed to send mail to this connector after a few days (when I realized what was happening as I had mail stuck in the queue between servers). That got the mail between servers flowing but it has been 4 days since that and still no folder movement.
I am not super strong with Exchange, I can get by a bit but I am stuck.
Any of this making sense or am I missing something else?
Thank you for any suggestions.
