I have an issue with one of my clients SBS Server 2011. The setup here is two PC's (Windows 7 64Bit) and two users setup on a domain with Shared Files on the server. The problem I have faced is every so often, in random folders and affecting random files, one of the users will edit a shared document (Word and Excel). After they have saved and closed the file if the second user tries to open the same file it does not appear in their Windows Explorer, even though they are in the same location and have read/write permissions on the entire directory. However if this was not strange enough, if they go back to the same location later they can now see and access the file. But when they do, edit it, save and close the first user can no longer see the file.
As I said this affects files in random folders and is rarely the same file twice.
I'm completely stuck on the issue so any help will be appreciated.
