Hello,
I have one SBS 2003 server running Exchange, IIS and SQL Server and acting as the domain controller. I'm trying to upgrade it to SBS2008 the easiest, less complicated way.
Here's some info about my setup. The server is running on an DL380 G1. I want to upgrade it to a G3/G4, 64bit CPU. I have 3-4 active users who logon only to exchange web to check their email. I don't have any clients connecting to the domain via laptops/desktops.
Is it possible to maybe install SBS2008 on my new server hardware. Then just import my old emails via a PST file? I could hook up a laptop and join the domain on the old server to download all the emails into a PST (for each of the 3 users), then reimport those on the new server.
Is that feasible? Do you have any other better ideas?
Thanks much.
