We recently migrated to SBS 2011 from SBS 2003. Most things are working well, except that server reports are not being sent. They are set to go to a single Exchange user. (I've read that some people have had trouble sending to external users due to relay issues, but that is not the case here.)
I see nothing in the event logs that seems related at the time the reports are scheduled to send. I also don't see any evidence of the message attempt in Exchange message tracking.
If I try to send a report by clicking "Generate and e-mail report" in the SBS Console, after a while I get the error: "An error has occurred while sending this report. As a result some of the recipients will not receive this report in e-mail." This is accompanied by MSExchangeTransport event 1020, which states: "The account 'domain\administrator' provided valid credentials, but is not authorized to use the server; failing authentication."
This post indicates that the error has to do with permissions on the Administrator account, and that the report needs to run as the Network Administrator account. The Network Administrator account on my server was disabled, so I enabled it. This has not changed anything. I'm not really sure if the Network Administrator account is supposed to be enabled or not, or why it was disabled.
Thanks, any help would be appreciated.
