Hi,
I have recently installed SBS 2011 Standard as a VM and Server 2008 Standard R2 as a VM (running SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard) on a physical Dell server using Hyper-V. The second VM running Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2 (Premium Add-On Pack) is presumably only licensed for one 'instance' of SQL Server? I have recently found out that our two main databases (Sage and a contact management system) require different location collations. One requires the SQL UK version and the other the USA. It sounds as if we will have to buy a license for another installation SQL Server 2008 R2?
The SQL server side of events is being handled by external engineers as my experience with SQL is minimal.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
