SBS 2003 disaster Can I use temp SBS server on domain?

Hi,
multiple hard drive failures caused our SBS 2003 server to crash, we have sent
the drives to a specialist company to try and recover the data which may take
quite a while. The backups we had are either incomplete or inaccessible so a
full restore at this point is not an option.

While we wait for the data to be reconstructed and returned to us, I want to setup
something temporarily to get everyone on the domain working again.

Would it be possible to setup another server with SBS 2003 as temporary DC and would it
cause any problems when we reincarnate the original SBS 2003 DC?

I would obviously want to use the same domain name if possible so the clients can just log on as
normal.

Any help or
advice much appreciated

Thanks

Paul
