Migrate W2003 SBS. Create W2012 VMs.

I have a couple of tasks ahead of me.

1. Replace a W2003 SBS box.  They are not running Exchange.  They are running Sql Server 2005.
2. Adding a W2012 Server Standard and setting up two Hyper-V VM guests (app server and Sql 2008 server).

I am looking for some big picture sequence suggestions.

Should my W2012 VM Host be a member of the domain or remain stand alone?

If the VM host is in the domain, where should AD,DNS, DHCP, Print be located?

How do I transfer the roles from the W2003 SBS server?
