We have a 2003 SBS w/exchange server. We installed a 2008R2 w/Exchange 2010 about 2 years ago and moved everything to the 2010 Exchange server. Since then we no longer use Exchange and I have turned off as many of the Exchange services I could find on both servers. We now want to remove the 2003 SBS server completely as it has been crashing and most likely will fail soon. My question is how do I remove Exchange 2010 from the 2008R2 server before I remove the 2003SBS server. I did try the add/remove program method but it gave an error that it could not find the exchange database folder. (this was done several months ago so I don't remember the exact error message). After removing Exchange I will transfer the FSMO rolls to the 2008R2 DC server.
