SBS 2003 SP2 Fax Problem

I had a problem where I had uninstalled the fax to hopefully correct a problem.  Upon re-installing the fax it connects and begins transmission and then stops with a critical error #.  Same thing happens on receive.  Uses a Zoom 1025C V.92 PCI Fax.
