SBS2008: Exchange Server 2007 - Upgraded from SP1 to SP3 error

Hello,

I've recently upgraded Exchange Server 2007 SP1 to SP3 encountering no errors or issues during the process.

I've restarted the SBS 2008 server and checked the version in Exchange Management Console which is 08.03.0289.001 however, Hub Transport, Client Access, and Mailbox display as version 8.1 (build 240.6).

I've run Get-ExchangeServer in Exchange Management Shell which displays the version 8.1 and checked the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 version in Programs and Features which is 8.3.83.6.

I've checked the registry to find the ConfiguredVersion and UnpackedVersion for Hub Transport Role, MailboxRole and ClientAccess Role on the path HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\v8.0\ are all 8.3.83.6.

When I run Microsoft Exchange Best Practices Analyzer it reports Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 is installed.

This issue appears to be preventing the installation of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 on a new SBS 2011 server (during migration process) as the following error message occurs for Hub Transport Role Prerequisites, Client Access Role Prerequisites, and Mailbox Role Prerequisites:

Coexistence between Exchange Server 2010 and Exchange Server versions older than Exchange Server 2007SP2in the same Active Directory Site is not supported.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
