We have a Windows sbs2003 environment where we have 2 clients with windows 7 and one with windows Vista, the issue is that nouser can change the Power Options (specifically, configuring when to put the computer to sleep), I am presented the message that " settings are controlled by your administrator
What I've tried so far:
- Group Policies on SBS2003 – GPMC.MSC – user configuration -system – power options – only choice that I have is to configure (Prompt password after resume from hibernate) cannot find any policies that have to do with the power options – change sleep mode
- Local admin rights – looks OK (both user and domain admin have local admin rights)
- Local Group policies – Power options – Not configured
Is there anything else I can look at to regain control over power options on my client machines?
