sbs 2011 Sluggish Response At Times

I am having issues when SBS monitoring is running. It seem to increase the AVG Disk Read to 20-100% and increase the AVG Disk Queue to 100%. I am thinking this is what is creating a "Sluggish response" at those times.

We have a Dell PE T410 with 12GB RAM. Perc H700 with 3 X 1 TB SATA drives.

Is there settings I could change in the way SBS monitors the system?
