SBS 2012 Performance issues after electrical problem.

This is kind of a weird one I think.

The server is about a year old. Dell PowerEdge.

2 weeks ago an electrical accident in the shop sent 220 back up the lines in to the office.

I lost 2 UPS devices, a router, switch and several NICs.

The server lost its 1st internal NIC. I was able to switch NIC's and reconfigure services, but the server is now incredibly slow. Reboots tend to hang and blue screen. and take as much as 30 min when they do work.

OMSA, the bios diagnostics, and memory tests all say after I disabled the bad NIC that there are no hardware issues. There was one error that said the DVD door was jammed which seemed erroneous, but I disabled the device just to be sure.

Then I tried a System Restore (unable to restore), System Repair (Errors found but unable to repair) and Recovery from media (Media not recognized). Yes, I re enabled the DVD and it works. Also tried SFC with no errors found.

It sounds kind of like a virus, but the scan took an entire day and came back clean.

I haven't rebuilt the page file yet because of the reboot issue. I am thinking there may have been some kind of damage to maybe a utility partition?

Right now I am thinking replacing the pagefile doesn't fix it, I want to try using the mirror drive to initiate an OS rebuild to check the system performance with a fresh OS.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
