Security Context

Hi there,

I'm a new user to SBS 2011 Essentials.  I am trying to run a SQL Backup utility, a program that automates nightly backups of our financials.  I am not able to complete the Run because the user is not able to access the database "under the current security context."

The actual message is:

The server principal "[MACHINE]/Administrator" is not able to access the database "[DATABASE123]" under the current security context.

I believe this has something to do with the fact that I have removed several roles on the server, and am in fact not using the machine as a domain controller.  (I did this because I want the machine to be a user on another server.  Yes, I see the irony in my choice of OS in this regard.)

I have removed the following roles:  ADCS, ADDS.  I cannot add them again without making the computer a domain controller, which as I said I don't wish to do.

Is there a way to authenticate a user (in this case, the Administrator), or change this computer's security context as to allow for access to SQL databases?

Thank you in advance everyone,

Tom
