Hello all,
Have a SBS 2008 premium server setup with approx. 15 computers attached. I am unable to connect to my work computers from home using RWW. I am able to view email (OWA) and the internal web site but cannot connect to computers or servers on my network. I have checked all settings associated with RWW per suggestions I picked up reading other posts about similar problems none of which work. When trying to connect I get the following dialog box "VB Script: Remote Desktop connection The wizard cannot configure remote desktop connection settings. Make sure thta the client version of Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)6.0 or later is installed on this computer." I have checked and both computers work and client are running (RDP)7.1 Office computer runs Windows 7 Pro home computer runs Windows 7 home premium.
I found one thing that I think may be a problem and that is in the Server Manager console under Terminal Services only the TS Gateway is installed. In the Summary pane it shows 2 events #1.) inforamtion at 6/27/13 9:46:45am the TSGateway has started. #2.) Warning 6/27/13 9:46:33am the TSGateway Service is shutting down it then lists steps to check 1.) World Wide Web Publishing service ( it is running in services) 2.) Internet Authentication Service (IAS) (this is not listed in my Services) and 3.) RDC/HTTP load Balance (this is running in my services). Can this be the problem with RWW? If so what is the fix?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
