SBS 2008 with UCC SSL has Cert failure for local users - no .local in cert - domain is .local

Hi,

I have a SBS 2008 server where the domain was named .local when installed a few years ago.  We have recently installed a UCC SSL Certificate.  .Local extensions are no longer allowed and are to be no longer recognized.  The certificate does not have a .local domain in it but the installation domain name used was a .Local.

When users of Outlook 2010 and 2013 connect to the Exchange server they are stopped and forced to click a bypass certificate error screen to get into their Outlook.

How can I fix this?

M
