We have moved recently from our 2003 SBS server to a new 2011 SBS server and and a new terminal server based on TS server 2012. For some reasons we want to keep our 2003 terminal server in use and transfered it in the new configuration.
Orginaly everything worked on the 2003 OK after the migration but on a certain moment all mappings were lost. When a user logs in it seems to work OK but no mappings are shown and instead we see the local C and D drive. We have removed all user profiles from the terminal server and after that all profiles all created new. But the problem stays.
At the 2012 server it works all OK with the correct mappings.
We have reviewed the GPO but can not find any possible problem.
What can be the reason for this?
