I have moved a client to Office365 from SBS 2011. I created a new accepted domain in EMC called localdomain.com and associated it to the Windows SBS email policy. At the same time I removed the domain.com email address from said policy. In addition I had to remove it also from the gateway proxy using ADSI edit. I also removed the associated email address from each user.
I cannot remove the domain or make any other changes to accepted domains now. The Error is:
"The email address policy object doesn't have a primary SMTP E-mail address specified in the template."
Google search has been fruitless. I get results only for steps I have already taken, and not specifically for this error.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
