SharePoint 2010 Timer Service stops and when I try to start it I get the error:

"Windows could not start the SharePoint 2010 Timer Service on Local Computer.
Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure."

At the event viewer I see:

event Id 7000 (The SharePoint 2010 Timer service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not start due to a logon failure.)

event Id 7038 (The SPTimerV4 service was unable to log on as Domain\spfarm with the currently configured password due to the following error: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. To ensure that the service is configured properly, use the Services snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC).)

I can fix it but only for a day using below steps:

from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff724280.aspx

2.On the Start menu, click All Programs. Click Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Products.

3.Click SharePoint 2010 Management Shell (RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR!).

4.From the Windows PowerShell command prompt, type the following

Repair-SPManagedAccountDeployment

It looks like something is changing the password of the Domain\spfarm account...

I did follow many of the posting that I found but I am running out of clues.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Constantine
