Got hung up on twice when I called Volume Licensing. i think the questions are simple though, perhaps someone here can help.
I have a SBS 2011 Standard and SBS 2011 Premium Servers with about 15 users.
I purchased a Server 2012 through volume licensing with intentions of Downgrading it to Server 2008.
Downloaded the fulfilment kits and licsense spreadsheet.
1. In the license spreadsheet there are 2 product activation keys for WS2008 One is a type MAK and the other is a type ZMS. My thoughts are that I need to use the type MAK product key, but I really wanted someone to confirm that this is the correct choice.
2. When we go to replace the server with WS 2012 hardware a few years down the road, will we need to contact Licensing or can I just install the WS 2012 with the 2012 product key.
