What is this Active Directory schema entry? msSilMemberServer

My domain is currently running Windows Essential Business Server 2008, but I have Exchange 2010 SP2 and OCS 2007 R2, as well as the schema extensions for 2008 R2.

Recently, I've started getting messages from my Active Directory change reporting software that the security on "CN=msSilMemberServer,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=badabing,DC=badaboom" is being changed by 'unknown' and my Exchange 2010 multi-role server is changing the security in the opposite direction once a day.

What is the source and role of this schema item?  Looking in ADSI Edit, I don't see anything that informative, but the whenCreated data is from when Server 2008's schema was introduced to allow the addition of a 2008 domain controller as part of the EBS install process.

A related item is "CN=msSilProductType,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=badabing,DC=badaboom"
