We moved from a machine with SBS 2003, to a new machine with SBS2011.
I named the new server a different name, we'll say "NEWSERVER" and the old one we'll say was called, "OLDSERVER".
In many cases, I noticed that end users computers are looking for OLDSERVER network locations and it's causing A LOT of slow response times, particularly when opening documents and using MS office applications. I think for some reason the client PCs (most of which are running Windows 7) are looking for network locations like, \\OLDERSVER\etc..\etc...
Can anyone help me figure out what's going on here? I'm assuming something got overlooked in the migration, but I'm thinking I might be missing something obvious. Thanks in advanced for the help.
