One client is not allowing some users to log on to our SBS 2008 domain. To date, only two users are know to be affected. When they attempt to log on they receive an error message stating that "The username or password is incorrect". I have verified that the username and password are correct in both cases. The affected users are able to log on to the domain using other clients. Other users are able to use the afflicted computer to log on.
Some things that I tried while troubleshooting the problem:
-the problem client does have access to the network
-I was able to resolve the IP address of the SBS server from the problem client
