Hi !
I am planning to migrate a SBS2003 installation to SBS2011, where HW is new and the destination server will be placed in a different branch office (another subnet) than the source server.
I will rather NOT install SBS2011 from scratch and do a manual migration (new domainname etc), and I do not plan to use Swing.
My Q's are:
1. Is it possible to do a such migration (source server in 192.168.165.10, destination server in 192.168.166.2), the link is a VPN connection with approx 2 Mbit upload speed from either side.
2. Should I rather set up the destination server in the source's network and do the migration side-by-side, and thereafter transfer the destination server to the new location after migration process is over ? (including changing ip / range & adress, is there any culprits doing so ?)
