I am doing a migration from SBS 2003 to SBS 2011 and am replicating shared files from the source to the destination server. While doing so, I noticed that the destination server can access shares on the source server but if I try to connect to the destination server from any domain computer, including the source server, I get a "Windows cannot access \\SMLS2" error unless I turn off the SBS 2011 firewall. I have network discovery on and the firewall is set with an exception for "File and Printer Sharing" for domain networks. Actually "File and Printer Sharing" is present twice, one that I can change and one that is set by group policy, both enabled. The firewall settings page in control panel does indicate that the server is connected to a domain network. I have no such problem with the source server. Any idea why shares would not be accessible unless the firewall is off?
Thanks,
