This issue started after migrating SBS 2003 to SBS 2011.
I can VPN connect to the server, but cannot access to network share (folders).
From home, I can ping the IP and server name.
But when I try to browse using the File explorer: \\server1, I get an error:
\\server1 is not accessible. You might not have permisison to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
However, I am able to browse using \\192.168.1.x
I don't think it is DNS issue, as I can ping server1.
I am hoping for a solution that does not require hard setting on user laptop.
With the same computer in work, I can browse the network folder using \\server1.
I tried turning off the firewall on the server, in vain.
