So I'm a google researcher junkie and this is my first forum attempt so bare with me.
I am a support IT tech for my small business. We have SBS2011 as our standalone server which has exchange 2010 on it. we had a ew people leave the company. Well our goto tech guy had his own email on our system but weve been using his email instead for contact. I hppane to send him an email about something and within a short time I went and disabled a few accounts for other people. While I was deleting I decided to removed the IT guys internal mailbox. Well at that time I started getting delivery report errors returning my email to the now removed and disable user. I was getting NDR every min for 3 days before I tried to re-enable his mailbox and AD user account to let this email finish its process. I am still getting the same email over and over. I think ive got 1400 emails over the weekend. So today Ive tried to log into thie account and open outlook and have his mailbox start up like a normal user and tried to reply to my own email hoping to finish the loop but that didnt work so I'm not getting any emails from this user now but his emails are still coming in every few minutes. Ive tried going into mailflow or message tracker through EMC but I'm fairly new to exchange still and cant find out how to delete or stop this looping email. Anysuggestions would be greatly appreciated as everyone elses forums entres Ive looked up doesnt apply to my situation.
