We have 25 licenses on SBS 2003 SP2, and needed a couple more, so I bought some CALs.
I bought a 5 user license for "SBS 2003 R2 transition pack". Well, I thought it meant I was buying a transition pack to increase users for SP2, without realizing this is an actual product. The code in the CAL pack has only 11 digits/letters, but the server manager wants 25, so I am assuming these things aren't compatible. The vendor will not honor an exchange as I've opened the package.
Is there a way to convert the TP CALs backwards?
